AAMANO MUSIC

Kelly Bennette (1962- ) was born in Port Arthur, Texas and grew up in the neighboring town of Groves. He received a BS in Music Education from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas in 1989. He has recently retired from public school band directing and is composing full time.

Mr. Bennette's performing experience includes six years as tubist for the Lamar Faculty Quintet as well as tubist for the Beaumont Symphony Orchestra for nine years.  He spent twenty eight years in public education. His musical compositional credits include approximately eighty marches as well as numerous overtures and concert band pieces.
